STEFAN BYBEL May 5, 1924 - November 5, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the the peaceful passing of our beloved husband and father on November 5, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Stefan was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Eva and brothers Ivan and Marko. Stefan will be missed by his wife Melania; children Bohdan and Maria and numerous relatives in Canada and Poland. Stefan was born and raised in selo Jasionka, Lemkivchyna. After living several years in Germany and Belgium, he arrived in Canada 1954 and worked at several jobs before joining Misericordia Hospital where he worked until his retirement in 1989. Stefan was a long time and faithful member of Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church and was supportive of many Ukrainian organizations. He cared deeply for his wife and children and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. In his last years, he tried to enjoy life despite his declining health, especially by spending time in the yard and with his cats. Panachyda will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7 (tonight) at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8 at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, Fountain St. at Logan Ave. with Rev. Mitrat V. Olach officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Mykytuik, Ihor Chomik, Kris Basarab, Michael Modejczyk, Michael Lepki and Michael Sawka. The family thanks all staff and doctors at Seven Oaks Hospital 3 Unit 7 and the emergency room for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Drs.
